Volunteer of the Year Nominations

You’ve seen neighbors out and about volunteering their time and efforts to make our community the wonderful place it is to live – helping others, beautifying our spaces, and helping to keep us safe.

Whether the person has lived here for many years or only a short time, you can nominate someone for Corn Hill’s Volunteer of the Year – someone whose efforts you feel have gone above and beyond that of an ordinary neighbor. It doesn’t have to be a board member or committee chair; it may be someone you’ve noticed who quietly contributes to your street or the neighborhood in general. Now is the time to let them know how valuable they are!

You must be a Corn Hill resident to submit a nomination and the nominee must be a Corn Hill resident. Past winners include Janet Mlinar, Joe Brown , John Holley, Ginny Browne, Joanie and Pete Fraver, Joe Arena, Sue Porter and Bob Conklin, and Rob Goodling.

You can email your nomination to [email protected], or mail it to the Corn Hill Neighbors Association Office at 133 South Fitzhugh Street.

All nominations must be received by November 15, 2022.

Please include the following:

  • Your name, mailing address, and email address
  • The person you are nominating (full name)
  • A short paragraph describing this person’s contribution and why you feel they deserve the award.

Votes will be tallied by the Corn Hill Neighbors Association Board of Directors. The Volunteer of the Year Award will then be presented at the Holiday Celebration on December 11th.
