Corn Hill Arts FestivalThis summer, on July 14 & 15, Corn Hill will celebrate its 50th Corn Hill Arts Festival. Our festival started very humbly, as the ‘Greenwood Area Arts Show’ in 1969. Fast forward to 2018, and our festival is now consistently ranked as one of the top art shows in the country by ‘Sunshine Artist Magazine’.

As part of our year-long 50th festival celebration, Corn Hill will be hosting a five-day exhibition at the Rochester Contemporary Art Center, 137 East Avenue, in March. There will be an opening night wine/cheese event at the gallery on the evening of March 23, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The exhibition will run for five evenings.

The exhibition will showcase 48 of our previous 49 posters, as well as historical photos taken at our festival in the 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s.

We are currently missing one poster from our past, the 1971 advertising poster. Attempts to locate this missing poster have so far been unsuccessful. If anyone has this 1971 poster, or has a picture of it, please let us know by emailing the neighborhood association at [email protected].

More information about the exhibition will be announced in the February Gazette and in our social media outlets. Until then, please put a note in your calendar to save March 23, 2018.
