Corn Hill Arts Festival BoothThe weekend of July 11th and 12th would have been our 52 nd Corn Hill Arts Festival … our seminal event that brings us together as a community to produce one of the finest arts festivals in the area, and which generates the funds that allow us to invest in our neighborhood and give back to our wider community.

We can’t come together this year to put on our festival, but we CAN still come together as neighbors to help beautify our green spaces and make our neighborhood the pride of the city of Rochester.

The Beautification Committee is holding its monthly Saturday clean-up on what would have been our festival weekend. On Saturday morning, July 11th , we invite you to join other neighbors at 9AM at the Gazebo in Lunsford Circle to spend the morning raking, trimming and weeding our green spaces and ensuring that our streets and public spaces are free of debris.

Come and bring some gloves and gardening tools (we have some rakes, brooms, bags, gloves and other gardening tools too) and join us for donuts and coffee/juice before we head out to clean-up Corn Hill! Stay for an hour or three (we typically end at noon) – it’s up to you.

What a great way to keep the spirit of our Corn Hill community alive and well.

We hope to see you there, and if you can … wear a corn hill t-shirt if you have one!
