Corn Hill Neighbors Association Wins Reshaping Rochester Award

Rob Goodling Corn Hill Neighbors Association President Receives the Betty Strasenburgh Honorable Mention Award for Activism for Reshaping Rochester AwardOn Wednesday, December 9, the Community Design Center of Rochester announced the winners of its fifth “Reshaping Rochester” awards during a luncheon at Temple B’rith Kodesh. The Corn Hill Neighbors Association was presented with the “Betty Strasenburgh Honorable Mention Award for Activism” among a field of nine exceptional nominees.

CHNA President Rob Goodling accepted the award “on behalf of my colleagues on the board of directors, our fourteen Committee Chairpersons, and the more than three hundred volunteers who work throughout each year to preserve, maintain and improve Corn Hill, Rochester’s oldest historic neighborhood.”

The board especially offers its appreciation to the Development & Outreach Committee and its Assistant Chair Bonny Mayer for preparing and submitting our application, and thanks Wayne Goodman of the Landmark Society of Western New York and Elaine Lennox of Archer Communications for their gracious support of our petition.
