Winter Scene on Clarissa St. Corn Hill, Rochester, NYOn December 1st, more than 30 representatives from Memorial AME Zion Church, Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, the First Church of God, The Clarissa Room, the Flying Squirrel Community Center, the Clarissa Street Reunion Committee, the Landmark Society of Western New York and the Corn Hill Neighbors Association met to view and discuss the Clark Patterson Lee study that offered ideas for possible changes on Clarissa Street that would highlight its historic importance and breathe renewed life into this important Corn Hill area.

There seemed to be sufficient interest to move forward and a second meeting will be held at The Clarissa Room, 293 Clarissa Street on Monday, February 2nd at 7 p.m. Clayton Wiley (Memorial AME Zion Church) and Scott Williams (CHNA Vision Plan Steering Committee) have agreed to co-chair this meeting. All interested neighbors and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and to share thoughts and ideas regarding this exciting initiative for Clarissa Street.
