Wegmans passport to family wellnessCongratulations to Phyllis Feeney of Rochester, whose Wellness Passport was chosen on Sunday, July 10 in a random drawing on the Main Stage at the Corn Hill Arts Festival. Ms. Feeney has received a $100 Wegmans Gift Card.

Phyillis, her husband Bill and their daughter were part of CHNA Historian Jim DeVinney’s guided tours of our ten historic trail sites, and states that she and Bill met here in the Third Ward years ago when they were both RIT students—she a Freshman and he in his second year. Their tour helped relive old memories.

She wrote to say,

“Thanks to all your members for doing such a great job on restoring an area that is very close to our hearts. Also thanks to Jim DeVinney for his tours. We hope to take more of them.”

Every year, several hundred people visit the ten sites on our Corn Hill Historic Wellness Trail, either on their own or during one of Historian DeVinney’s guided tours. Newly completed, rubbed Wegmans passports may be dropped off or mailed to our Corn Hill Neighbors Association office at 133 S. Fitzhugh Street and will be eligible for next year’s arts festival drawing.
