Corn Hill Neighbors AssociationNeighbors, all of us have chosen to live in the unique urban village that is Corn Hill. This is a social, diverse and connected community which invests its time, talents, and resources for the care of this neighborhood and each other.

Our neighborhood has been governed by the Corn Hill Neighborhood Association for 50 years! It is one of the strongest city neighborhood associations and remains strong through the efforts of your elected Board of Directors, the commitment of committee volunteers and the involvement of many of you! All Corn Hill property owners and adult residents are automatically members of the Corn Hill Neighborhood Association.

On the second Monday of every month, a general neighborhood meeting is held which is open to all Corn Hill residents. Several times a year, these meetings are community gatherings, such as our Holiday Christmas Party at the Hervey Ely House and the pre-festival appreciation picnic at Lunsford Circle. These meetings help to inform and involve residents in the activities of Corn Hill, allow for shared neighborhood and city concerns, and forge connections as neighbors. On the third Monday of every month, the Board of Directors meets to discuss the business of our neighborhood and the ways we can improve our community life.

This is an invitation to residents both new and old to consider attending the neighborhood general meetings. The next meeting will be held on:

Monday, March 9h at 7 PM at the Adams Street Recreation Center.

In addition to sharing the financial status of our Association and its various committees, this meeting will highlight the structure of the Association itself – the Board of Directors and the standing and ad hoc committees of the neighborhood – past accomplishments and ongoing activities – festival and holiday house tour updates – neighborhood communication – and opportunities for involvement.

Also, at this meeting you can learn about the 2020 census and how it impacts each of us and our entire neighborhood community. A local 2020 Census representative will be available to discuss the Census and answer your questions.

We need you to help keep Corn Hill such a wonderful community in which to live, work, and play. We are only as strong as our commitment to each other.
