Davis-Soper | Mark IV Townhome

Tour Year: 2021
Year Built: 1983

The neighborhood’s second rejuvenation took place in the 1980s.  Many old homes near the river were in such disrepair that they could not be salvaged and demolished.   Mark IV Construction used that land to build the current townhomes and condos that exist today.  The current owners purchased this home in August 2017 after renting in Corn Hill for the prior year.

There are 1,319 sq feet of living space between the first and second floor, two covered porches, and a finished basement. The current owners have done extensive renovation and remodeling of the home.  Today an open kitchen that flows into the main living area and hardwood floors with board and batten added to the dining room walls.  The fireplace façade and main level bathroom are updated according to the owners’ desired style.

The home presents an eclectic array of artwork gathered during one of the owner’s work extensive international travels.

Post update and renovation to the condo, the owners are now settling in and have added a borderdoodle, Dax, to their family.
