National Night Out | Free Ice Cream Social

Monday, August 1st, 7:00 PM

Come join the Corn Hill Community as we celebrate the 39th National Night Out with a FREE Ice Cream Social sponsored by the Corn Hill Security Committee. The event will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd at 7:00 PM at the newly restored Lunsford Circle Park Gazebo. Join your neighbors for a delicious Bruster’s Ice Cream and meet the officers who regularly patrol our area to keep our community safe.

Over 16,000 neighborhoods across the US come together to celebrate this community-building event which promotes neighborhood camaraderie and provides the opportunity to bring law enforcement officers and neighbors together in a positive setting.  

The fundamental components of National Night Out include:     

• Turning on outside porch and yard lights in support of neighborhood watch and safety practices – please participate!
• Residents gathering outside to get to know one another
• Connecting with our police officers – Trust and police/citizen partnerships are key to our safety!
• Learn about and meet your neighborhood safety committee; sign up to get monthly crime reports; find out about PAC-TAC training opportunities in Corn Hill

Over 150 neighbors attended this community-building event the last time it was held. We hope to enjoy an ice cream with you on August 2nd!
