In mid-April, the Philanthropy Committee of the Corn Hill Neighbors Association continued its support of Dr. Alice Holloway Young School #3 by approving a grant for the purchase of 70 scientific calculators. These calculators were needed for use by the middle school students during the New York State Math Exams.
Joanie Fraver and Ginny Browne of the Corn Hill Neighbors Association delivered the calculators to Principal Deborah Washington and Community Site Coordinator Cher’eeze Hall. Photographer Bruce Cook came along to take some pictures!
