Corn Hill: Through a Six-Year-Old’s Eyes

Six-year-old Jena Fraver, a first-grader from Wake Forest, North Carolina, was in Corn Hill over the holidays visiting her grandparents, Joanie and Pete Fraver. She brought her camera with her, just as any aspiring photojournalist would—an interesting goal for one so young. At the age of six, I was planning to run away and join the circus. However, after a lifetime in media, I admire Jena’s attraction to textures and light as shown in these two photos she took while touring our neighborhood. Do you know where they are? Keep up the good work, Jena. You’re showing a lot of promise.
