2022 Corn Hill Arts Festival Poster Unveiled

The Corn Hill Neighbors Association and ESL Federal Credit Union are excited to announce the 2022 Corn Hill Arts Festival Poster.

The unveiling was done by Bill Belecz, Festival Chair; Faheem Masood, President and CEO of ESL Federal Credit Union; and Patrick Cunningham, Deputy Mayor for the City of Rochester at Tony D’s.

“The unveiling begins the celebration of the festival’s return,” said Bill Belecz, 2022 Corn Hill Arts Festival Chairperson. “We, along with ESL Federal Credit Union, look forward to continuing the celebration in July with our neighbors, vendors, and visitors.”

This year’s poster design was created by Jakob Larzelere, a Caledonia, NY native, who is inspired by landscapes and organic beauty. Jakob originally became familiar with the festival when his high school teacher, Vicki McArdle, encouraged him to apply for the Emerging Artists Expo in 2019. After exhibiting at the festival, he was asked to be the new poster artist.

“I wanted to be able to feature the simplicity of Corn Hill, while honoring the history by showcasing the building and cobblestone road,” Larzelere explained. “The long entrance to the yard, yet the open gate in the back symbolizes that after all we have been through, things move on.”
