Corn Hill Neighbors Association nominated for the 2022 Community Champion for Public Education Award

The A Community Together (ACT) for Education and the 22 public school districts in the Monroe-Orleans County region have nominated the Corn Hill Neighbors Association for the 2022 Community Champion for Public Education Award!  This award was established to recognize area businesses, service organizations, and community leaders who serve as exceptional supporters of our local public schools and students.

The Corn Hill Neighbors Association has been nominated by Principal Deborah Washington and the Dr. Alice Holloway Young School of Excellence because of their outstanding dedication to the success of students and a commitment to the betterment of local public schools through partnership, support, and service.

The Corn Hill Neighbors Association and all other nominees will be recognized on the ACT for Education’s website and social media platforms (Twitter and Facebook) in celebration of National Small Business Week, and at a special “Year-end Celebration of School and Community Partnership” on Wednesday, June 8, from 7:30-9:00 AM at Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES.  Finalists for the 2022 award will be selected by a committee of local leaders and the winner of the 2022 Community Champion for Education Award will be announced at the year-end event.
