Rochester Downtown Development Corporation is seeking your opinion about what’s working and what’s not working in downtown Rochester today. Click here to complete the Downtown Satisfaction Survey online by November 8th.
Please take five minutes to share your opinions with us.
As an incentive for your participation, anyone that completes the survey can enter to win one of several prizes provided by the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Tavern 58 restaurant.
They also ask that you share this survey with as many other downtown stakeholders as possible – your tenants, neighbors, students, co-workers and friends.
Why the Survey is Important
Whether you live, work, attend school, or own a business downtown, whether you visit downtown to enjoy the cultural and restaurant scene, or whether you simply live in the surrounding area, you have a stake in downtown’s success. Downtown belongs to all of us.
A process is underway to explore a way of strengthening our downtown through a Business Improvement District (BID).
BIDs have proven to be a powerful way to improve business conditions and quality of life in commercial centers. Hundreds of mid-large size cities across the country and around the world employ BIDs to manage their downtown areas, and have reaped substantial benefits from the enhanced on-street and off-street services that a BID provides.
A critical step in the exploration process is to gain a clear understanding of how the community views the current environment and services provided in our downtown. To that end, we are conducting this Downtown Satisfaction Survey.
Again, please click here to complete the survey online by November 8th.
If you have questions about the survey, or about our downtown BID plans, please feel free to contact Heidi N. Zimmer-Meyer – [email protected] or (585) 263-6950.
