On Thursday and Friday, June 11 and 12, Nathaniel Rochester School #3 students will present “Honk, Jr.–The Musical” in the Cafeteria/Auditorium at 85 Adams Street. Performances begin at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased on the evenings of the performances.
Based on Hans Christian Anderson’s fable, “The Ugly Duckling,” this is the story of Ugly, who looks quite a bit different from his duckling brothers and sisters. When this heartwarming musical was first “hatched” in 1993, it won the Olivier Award for Best Musical. The message of tolerance and being different features a musical score that boasts songs like, “The Joy of Motherhood,” “Hold Your Head Up High,” “Play With Your Food,” and “Different.”
The cast, students and staff of School #3 have been working extremely hard to present this show and would appreciate your attendance.
