On Wednesday, June 26 a ceremonial ribbon was cut by Mayor Tom Richards, Wegmans representatives, and Corn Hill Ad-Hoc Chair Marty Petrella to dedicate our new Corn Hill Historic Trail.
The ten markers & posts are currently in the final stages of completion and are expected to be installed sometime following this year’s arts festival, and a Friday evening Inaugural Walk for neighbors is planned at that point.
The Wegmans Wellness Passport Book
The ten location descriptions are included in the Wegmans Wellness Passport Book, which can be obtained:
- at the CHNA office,
- the Information booth during the 2013 arts festival,
- or download it here.
Visit All 10 Sites to Win a $100 Wegmans Gift Certificate
Once one has visited all ten sites, done each rubbing in the Passport Book, and completed the required contact information, the book may be dropped off at the CHNA office or mailed to 133 S. Fitzhugh Street. Starting with the 2014 arts festival, a passport drawing will be held and the winner will receive a $100 Wegmans gift certificate.
Be sure to read all these historic descriptions and to visit each Corn Hill site.
