WE NEED YOU!!
To Join Us In The
3rd ANNUAL CORN HILL CLEAN-UP BLITZ!!
On Saturday, June 20th, just three short weeks before the Corn Hill Arts Festival, the Beautification Committee is sponsoring the CORN HILL CLEAN-UP BLITZ
modeled after the city’s Clean Sweep efforts that take place in May.
This is an opportunity to get outside, meet some great neighbors and spend the morning putting the “shine” on our beautiful neighborhood! Last year we had two dozen neighbors turn out for an enjoyable morning (We promise not to work anyone too hard!!)
Never volunteered before? …… then this is for you!
Consider giving just a 1-time 3 hour commitment (9AM – Noon) to the area you call home!
Meet at Joanie and Pete Fraver’s house at 187 S. Fitzhugh Street at 9:00AM for a light breakfast. Wear a Corn Hill T-shirt if you have one; otherwise one will be provided. Grab a pair of work gloves and trash bags. Some tools will be available – you are welcome to bring your own as well. Work teams will pick up litter, rake, sweep, and trim in the various sections of our neighborhood.
We’ll wrap up at noon and gather again at Joanie and Pete’s for lunch, relaxation, a visit with neighbors, and a chance to win a door-prize or two!
Please consider lending your time for this community effort. We’ll need to know an approximate number for food and supplies, so fill out the form below.
If you would like to take part in the Blitz, please provide the following information or contact the Beautification Committee at: Beautification @cornhill.org and Joanie or Pete will get back to you.
