Corn Hill Neighbors AssociationThe Corn Hill Neighbors Association (CHNA) Annual Meeting is an opportunity for residents and homeowners to cast a ballot in the CHNA board of directors’ election.

Voting for new members of the board will take place on Monday, September 10. The meeting and voting will be held at 133 South Fitzhugh Street, lower level conference room, north entrance. **Registration and voting begin at 5:00 p.m. The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. In case of a tie vote, a run-off ballot will be provided for those in attendance.**

Seven outstanding Corn Hill neighbors are on the ballot for six board positions, and the election results will be announced at the conclusion of the meeting. Candidates’ biographies can be found in the September issue of the Gazette and on our website, www.cornhill.org.

All Corn Hill residents and property owners are automatically members of the Corn Hill Neighbors Association (CHNA), but you must be registered to vote on issues presented during a CHNA general meeting, on the yearly budget and for the board of directors. Once you are registered, your registration does not expire unless you cease to be a CHNA member.

To register, you must submit a completed Voter Registration Form along with proof of Corn Hill residency or ownership of Corn Hill property. Acceptable documentation includes your driver’s license, a billing statement, an envelope showing your name, address, and cancelled stamp, or similar proof.

If you are unable to attend the general meeting, you can use the Voter Registration Proxy Form and assign another registered member to vote for you. This form is also available at the general meeting and the CHNA office.

Along with voting, the meeting’s agenda is scheduled to feature an update about Nathanial Rochester City School #3 and the opportunity to discuss the “State of the Neighborhood” where you can give your input about Corn Hill.

Come out and join your neighbors at this annual event. Cast a ballot! Let your opinion be heard! We look forward to seeing you on September 10th.
