The CHNA Beautification Committee has begun the first phase of its banner project with new banners that will greet this year’s arts festival visitors as they approach from Exchange Boulevard.
In 1990, the CHNA had installed its first “Historic Corn HIll” banners along South Plymouth Avenue just in time for that arts festival. Those banners were precedent-setting in the City of Rochester and have served us well for many years.
At our March, 2013 CHNA General Meeting, neighbors viewed a variety of proposed designs and voted five favorites, which, along with our 1990 Cornstalk design, are now on display as “Eclectic,” “Historic,” “Colorful,” “Vibrant,” “Classic,” and “Festive” new banners. Be sure to take a stroll along Exchange Boulevard and enjoy this latest gift to our Corn Hill neighborhood.
