Calling all neighbors to turn out for a general clean-up effort to help make our beautiful neighborhood shine for the CORN HILLS ARTS FESTIVAL.

WE WANT YOU

To Join Us In The

CORN HILL CLEAN-UP BLITZ!!

On Saturday, June 22nd, just three short weeks before the Corn Hill Arts Festival, the Beautification Committee is sponsoring the CORN HILL CLEAN-UP BLITZ modeled after the city’s Clean Sweep efforts that take place in May.

This will be an opportunity to get outside and enjoy the sunshine, meet some great neighbors and spend the morning putting the “shine” on our beautiful neighborhood!

Never volunteered before?

Consider giving just a 1-time 3 hour commitment (9AM – Noon) to the area you call home!

Meet at Joanie and Pete Fraver’s house at 187 S. Fitzhugh Street at 9:00AM for a light breakfast. Wear a Corn Hill T-shirt if you have one; otherwise one will be provided. Grab a pair of work gloves and trash bags. Some tools will be available – you are welcome to bring your own as well. We’ll break up into teams to pick up litter, rake, sweep, trim, etc. in the entryway areas and various sections of our neighborhood.

We’ll wrap up at noon and gather again at Joanie and Pete’s for lunch, a chance to relax and visit with neighbors, and to win a door-prize or two!

Please consider lending your time for this community effort. We’ll need to know an approximate number for food and supplies, so fill out the form below and send to 187 South Fitzhugh St. or complete the same on-line form on the website at www.cornhill.org.

Yes, I want to volunteer on June 22nd for the Corn Hill Clean-up Blitz!
