On Oct. 8 I was part of the Honor Flight and I was fortunate to have Linda as my “Guardian”. I never expected to have someone take care of me as she did. Linda was great to be with, great sense of humor, very well informed. When I first met her and we got under way I figured that this Lady is one class act. Little did I know.

I am currently renting at 53 Atkinson st. I have great concerns about the trash in the recreation center area and the playing field. There is considerable trash over the field, Adams, Eagle and Atkinson st after many of the soccer matches. The young people leaving the recreation at night are noisy, disrespectful to residents walking their pets in the evening hours and throw trash all over the neighborhood. This has become a bigger issue in the years I have lived here.
The property on the corner of Clarissa and Adams St has become an eyesore. 47 Atkinson st has dog fecal matter covering the front lawn and the police is called to the address for excess noise on a consistent basis. I love this neighborhood and want it to continue to flourish.

To my Corn Hill Neighbors and the Association Board,
As I looked around yesterday at the gathering of the first Corn Hill Neighborhood Fall Harvest Picnic, I realized how much this community means to me. There are so many wonderful and interesting people who live here. Lundsford Circle is a perfect setting for our events. We’re so lucky to have such a beautiful park. I want to say that being a resident of Corn Hill is a source of pride and joy for me!

We are absentee landlords of 270 south fitzhugh st. We will not be able to attend but the tenants, brad and kevin have our permission to make any and all suggestions, presentation of ideas, concerns for the neighborhood, etc on our behalf.
